Out-of-School Youth (OSY) can now start their career and enter the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry as call center agent.

This is when they've enhanced and become accustomed of using English fluently with the help provided by Proficiency and Training Hotline ng Globe Telecom.

“We are leveraging on our expertise in communications and information technology to bring skills and training to the underprivileged sector of society so that they can also have a chance to a brighter future,” Mr. Ernest Cu, President and CEO of Globe.

Everyone Could Be a Call Center Agent

Without the need for formal schooling. An Interactive Voice Recording (IVR) of Globe Hotline could help out-of-school youth build their English language. A great foundation to break into the BPO industry, a progressing and constantly growing business that contributes more than USD10 billion to the Philippine gross domestic product (GDP).

It was first introduced by the GSM Association, accompanied with Department of Education (DepEd), Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) and industry sectors. mEducation which gave OSY the opportunity to study.
