Mga Lying-in Clinic Nanganganib na Ipasara sa Bagong Health Standards ng DOH

Lying-in clinic ang takbuhan ng maraming kababaihan na di kayang tustusan o di na pwedeng tanggapin pa ng mga ospital ng gobyerno. Pero nag-aalala ngayon ang mga namamahala ng mga lying-in clinics na baka sapilitan na ipasara ang ilan sa kanilang mga membro. 
 
Lahat ng mga lying-in clinic ay sa mga pasyente lang talaga umaasa. Sa isang lungsod mahigit sa 100 mga nanay ang nanganganak taon-taon. Ngayon, karamihan sa mga ito ay nanganganib ng magsara.

<ul><li>Hindi dapat bababa sa 10.5 Square meters ang birthing room. </li> <li>Kailangan din mahigit sa 6 meters ang ward.</li> <li>Ang delivery room dapat ay 3.5 meters.</li> <li>May rampa para sa mga manganganak na o yung dinadaan ng wheelchairs. Pinupunan ng mga lying-in clinics ang kakulangan ng mga pampublikong ospital. Ayun sa DOH, ito ang isa sa mga dahilan kung bakit dapat siguraduhin ang kalidad ng isang lying-in clinic. 
 
Kaya naman sabi ng DOH, sa darating na 2015 kapag hindi pumasa sa standard ang isang lying clinic—hindi ito bibigyan ng lisensya at dapat magsara. 
 
Ito ngayon ang nirereklamo ng grupo ng United Private Lying-in Practitioners and Proprietors (UPLIPP). Ayaw nila agad na maimplement ang nasabi batas dahil na din sa mga simpleng midwives lamang ang kadalasan na may-ari ng mga lying-in clinics na ito at hindi mayayamang negosyante. 
 
Ayun din sa grupo, halos 20% lamang ang makakapasok sa bagong pamantayan ng DOH. Gayundin ang katotohanan na karamihan sa kanila ay umuupa lamang ng klinika. Swerte na lang kung may pera o mauutangan para sa pagpapatayo ng lying-in clinic. Pero paano naman daw ang iba na ultimo ibang gamit tulad ng pang newborn screening ay kailangan pa ipangutang?

Nagsusumamo ngayon ang UPLIPP, imbes kasi na kastiguhin ang mga midwives nila sana’y suportahan sila ng DOH.

Kris Aquino was dehydrated, all electrolytes have fallen, and anemic. She had her blood works done— think that's the red blood cell count and the hemoglobin count was very low. This could be hereditary but that’s it – just lack of electrolytes, maybe it was the heat of the summer. 
 
So, doctor advised Kris Aquino to be more cautious when outside, especially, now that summer isn't good for the body. The hottest times of the day is about 1 PM to 4 PM, and if possible, avoid being outdoors.

Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) deleted the three most harmful typhoons from the list of prospected typhoon names that entered the country last year. 
 
Weather Forecasting Division Chief Robert Sawi of PAGASA revealed 'Santi', 'Labuyo', and 'Yolanda' were replaced by the new names of 'Salome', 'Lannie', and 'Yasmin.' These newly added names will be included in 2017 typhoon names.

The three villages for where Putat trees were planted are;

The reason for the seasons lies in space. Our planet Earth plots a path through space that takes it around the Sun. This path, or orbit, takes one year. Flooding can cause great damage to the buildings and the countryside. Too much rain brings floods. There are two different types of floods. Flash floods happen after a short burst of heavy rainfall, usually caused by thunderstorms. Broadscale flooding happens when rain falls steadily over a wide area—for weeks or months—without stopping. When this happens, rivers slowly fill and eventually burst their banks. Tropical storms, such as hurricanes, can also lead to broadscale flooding.

There really was a Great Flood. The Bible tells of a terrible flood, and how a man called Noah was saved. Recently, explorers found the first real evidence of the Flood—a sunken beach 140 metres below the surface of the Black Sea. There are ruins of houses, dating back to 5600B.C. Stories of a huge flood in ancient times do not appear only in the Bible—the Babylonians and Greeks told of one, too.

When rain mixes with earth it makes mud. On bare mountainside, there are no tree roots to hold the soil together. An avalanche of mud can slide off the mountain. The worst-even mudslide happened after flooding in Colombia, South America in 1985. It buried 23,000 people from the town of Armero. 
 
Mudslide can devastate whole towns and villages, as the flow of mud covers everything it meets.
